I’m so Excited!
After nearly three years, I have made the most progress in regards to my book than ever before!
It has been professionally edited, and now an influential author read my proposal and loved it–and connected me with a literary agent. Wow! We are making progress!
Now begins the waiting game. Will the agent pick me up as a client or will he pass? Writing a book really is a stressful and looooong process. I know not every reader of my blog is a believer, but I can use all the prayers you can muster up!
Australia Radio Interview Challenged Me to Finish
Never in a million years would I have thought that writing a book would take as long as it is taking me. Not to mention the time it is taking me to complete my book proposal. Through this process I have read thousands of pages, learned a tremendous amount about this subject, and about not giving up.
The past two weeks Caz, Abby, and I were vacationing and visiting family in Australia. While I was there I had the honor of being interviewed by Rick Prosser on Australia’s Rhema FM , which I understand to be the largest Christian Radio station on the Central Coast. Rick asked me questions about my story of sexual faithfulness, sex and bonding, and other topics in the book. I hope my thoughts come out clearly. When it airs, I will blog about the details.
While I was in Australia hanging with the kangaroos (see pic above…and yes that is my beautiful wife, Caz and my little girl, Abby), I realized that it is time to finish this book proposal, go through the editing process and “put myself out there!” Scary. But it is time. I don’t want to put a date on when the proposal will be completed—because I have already done that. However, I will say the proposal will be completed early summer.
